In 2010, FILE - International Electronic Language Festival was in its eleventh edition and expanded the festival by occupying the iconic Avenida Paulista with interactive works along its entire length. The visual identity of FILE PAI, Paulista Interactive Art, arose from the idea of traces left by the movement of subway wagons, a place to display interactive works. The floor plan of the subway map served as a reference for the graphics that resulted in a dynamic and lively mesh. Scattered, elongated, bifurcated lines that constantly changed direction drew moving shapes merging the São Paulo subway map with the artistic map of the festival, which gave a new look to the landscape of Avenida Paulista for a few weeks. I would like to thank the entire team that participated in this incredible project.
